Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SpacePods ("the Service"), operated by SpacePods ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Bot Actions Disclaimer

Important: Please read this section carefully.

SpacePods provides infrastructure to run AI agents (bots) that take autonomous actions on your behalf, including browsing the web, sending emails, executing code, interacting with third-party APIs, and modifying data. SpacePods assumes NO responsibility for the actions taken by your bots.

You bear FULL responsibility for configuring your bot's policies, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) controls. Any loss of property, data, financial harm, reputational damage, or any other consequence resulting from your bot's actions is entirely your responsibility.

We strongly recommend enabling HITL approval for high-risk actions and configuring restrictive policies before launching any bot.

2. User Responsibilities

As a user, you are responsible for:

  • Correctly configuring your bot's behaviour, policies, and guardrails
  • Setting up appropriate HITL controls for sensitive actions
  • Securing your API keys and credentials provided to your pods
  • Monitoring your bot's activity through the audit log
  • Ensuring your bot's actions comply with applicable laws and the terms of third-party services your bot interacts with
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

3. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • One person or legal entity per account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Engage in any illegal activity or facilitate illegal actions through your bots
  • Send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited communications
  • Abuse computing resources or attempt to circumvent usage limits
  • Attempt to access other users' pods, data, or infrastructure
  • Circumvent security controls, policies, or HITL mechanisms
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service to develop competing products
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from websites in violation of their terms

5. Third-Party Services

Your bots interact with third-party services (email providers, CRMs, websites, APIs) at your own risk. We are not responsible for:

  • Actions your bot takes on third-party platforms
  • Data your bot sends to or retrieves from external services
  • Violations of third-party terms of service caused by your bot
  • Interruptions or changes to third-party services

6. Intellectual Property

  • SpacePods owns all rights to the platform, infrastructure, and service code
  • You retain ownership of your data, bot configurations, and content generated by your bots
  • You grant us a limited licence to host and process your data as necessary to provide the Service

7. Payment and Billing

  • Free trial does not require a credit card
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected
  • Prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

8. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from your settings
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your pods will be stopped and your data deleted within 30 days
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including liability limitations and disclaimers)

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
  • WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ACTIONS TAKEN BY YOUR BOTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS, DATA MODIFICATIONS, OR COMMUNICATIONS SENT ON YOUR BEHALF

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
